The basic message in the book, for young people to start investing early, diversifying, and paying attention to costs, is lost on many as evidenced by the report described by Shawn at Watson Inc in his post "Young People Avoiding Investing in Record Numbers."
The Wells Fargo report Shawn reported on found that those in their 20s prefer CDs rather than investing in stocks.
The customer reviews of Millionaire Teacher speak for themselves. Andrew's book is a giant step in the right direction for attaining financial literacy.
Full disclosure: RW Investment Strategies is mentioned in the book.
Wow, you have effectively managed to plug two bloggers :) Thanks so much for the mention, and I had no idea that Andrew's book was so well-reviewed. 17 out 18 five stars is not an accident.
ReplyDeleteCheers, and thanks again!!!
Thanks so much for the amazing support Robert. I've been thrilled with the Amazon reviews as well: something that I was definitely holding my breath about before they started rolling in. I'm also, clearly, a huge fan of people like Robert who give their clients the kind of low cost service that everyone deserves. Robert could make four times as much money if he charged what the vast majority of other finance professionals charge. But he chooses not to.
