In case you didn't see it there is a real good DVD series on this based on the book "Commanding Heights" by Yergin. It should be available in your library. Although a bit dated now - it stops with 9/11 - it gives a pretty good historical overview. Robert

Thanks for the tip. My local library is just a little hole in the wall, but I'll see if they have it.
